KALI Escandón Mexico City

The stay was very pleasant. The hotel is in a walkable area with a handful of restaurants and cafes nearby. With a bit of effort, it’s possible to walk to La Condesa, Roma Norte, and some tourist attractions. Mexico City is a great walking city, and the location worked well for that. It’s also about a 20-minute ride to the airport with no traffic, so if you’re booking an early morning flight, it’s especially convenient. The price was great. Breakfast was delicious, and the service in the restaurant excellent. The room had a window that opened, which is rare and made the stay more comfortable. The water dispenser was convenient, and the maid service was excellent and very attentive.

Kali Escandon is a great hotel in a great, not touristy neighborhood. The staff are friendly and responsive, the breakfast always has lots of fruit, bread, eggs, and mexican options in a comfortable dining room. Everything in our room was clean and comfortable: Good lighting, comfy bed and couch, a big window that opens, ac. We really appreciated the filtered water dispenser available on each floor, which saved us from having to buy bottled water. Also, really fast elevators.

All the staff were lovely and helpful. It was so nice to have a great hot breakfast selection and potable water included! Room was clean and quiet. A/C and the bathroom fan both worked really well. The blackout curtains were effective.

Kali Escandon is an experience in hospitality in Mexico City. I stayed at the Junior Suite, complete with the jacuzzi tub and extra towels. Full air conditioning that was barely used as the weather was simply lovely. The shower was strong enough, hot enough, and just enough. Of course you can adjust as you prefer. Having breakfast from the on-site restaurant was a plus. They gave special request for room service at breakfast, much appreciated. The highlight for me as a solo traveler who didn’t speak the language was coming into Arrival with my luggage and seeing the hotel taxi driver carrying a sign with my name on it. That was such a relief. Check in was smooth and made even more pleasant by Isabelle. New on the job, yet totally personable and professional. She’s highly recommended!!! Will definitely stay here again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Really spacious rooms with a fairly stylish design. Large comfy beds, a sofa to watch TV, a glass table with chairs, nice bathroom space. It was quiet and we could relax well. Buffet breakfast was included in our case, which made the overall price really attractive, as there were four of us. They also have complimentary coffee in the lobby and water coolers on every floor.
